Champion fiddle players Robin Houghton and Ridge Roberts will present a program of Western Swing at the 30th birthday luncheon of the Keene Chamber of Commerce at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, at Keene Community Center, 1000 N Old Betsy Road in Keene. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. and the outdoor-cooked burgers and sides will be prepared by My Roots Authentic Mexican Cuisine. The cost is $18 per person for those who RSVP by noon July 24.
The luncheon will also:
• Honor the “Original 24” people who formed the Chamber on July 1, 1993. Members of the “Original 24” are guests of charter member Texas Health Huguley Hospital.
• The “Three Redneck Tenors” will sing Happy Birthday
• Present multiple door prizes valued at $30
• Birthday cake provided by Gillin Realty
• Table flowers by Republic Services
• Member Spotlight falls on Pinnacle Bank.
• Please bring an unwanted gift card with remaining balance to donate to the Chamber. Gift cards will be sold at August luncheon for half their value to support U.S. flag program.
