District 58 State Representative candidates Helen Kerwin, Republican from Glen Rose, and Richard Windmann, Libertarian Party, from Burleson, will speak at the Keene Chamber luncheon at noon Thursday, June 27, at Keene Community Center, 1000 N Old Betsy Road in Keene.

Doors open at 11: 30 a.m. The meal will be catered by Mr Jims Pizza of Keene and feature a pasta cusine. Admission is $18 per person.

Kerwin won a May 28 Republican Party primary runoff election for the opportunity to face Windmann in November.

Kerwin is a small business owner and entrepreneur, as well as former mayor of Glen Rose. She served as the first Republican Somervell County Commissioner.

Windmann is a computer scientist for Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity. 

State District 58 includes Johnson County.

This is not a debate. Each speaker will have equal time to share.
