The annual Southwestern Adventist University Homecoming Golf Classic will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start on Friday, April 1, at The Retreat Golf Course, 7725 FM 1434 in Cleburne.
The cost is $150 per player or $600 per team and includes green fee, cart, a sleeve of golf balls and lunch.
Proceeds benefit the First-In-Family Scholarship that gives first-generation college students the opportunity to advance their education at Southwestern Adventist University where faith grows and service abounds. Since 2011, the proceeds from this tournament have provided over $132,000 in funding. Eighty-six students have received this scholarship over the past ten years, making an incredible difference in the lives of these young scholars.
